The account manager CV is part of the sales and marketing organisation of Terumo UK  (TUK) and the main responsibilities are to manage all activities related to sales and marketing for the cardiovascular product group of Terumo Europe (TE)  More information about the products can be found on our corporate CV website:


  1. Product Knowledge
    • As account manager, you have an excellent product knowledge of the CV product line and act as an expert advisor for our clients. 
    • In addition, you have a complete and thorough knowledge of Terumo strategies and objectives, with an excellent understanding of all processes and systems within TUK, TE and the CV business unit.
  2. Achievement of sales and profit targets
  • You have excellent negotiation skills, you make sure you always have a bottom line target and you aim to have a win/win situation.
  • You demonstrates excellent account planning skills.
  • You have a sound knowledge of competitors, their products and services, with a clear knowledge of likely strategies for gaining and retaining business.
  • Together with your manager, you set sales objectives for for the (key) accounts 
  • You follow the sales strategy that has been set by senior management.
  1. Building Relationships
  • In all cases you are the ambassador of Terumo.
  • You maintain regular and frequent contact with the key accounts.
  • You show Terumo commitment to the customer and market expectations to deliver the service, the attention and the results we need to develop our market competently further.
  • You liaise regularly with your manager, in face to face meetings, as via phone or mail.
  • You report all market intelligence/information promptly to sales manager and use the CRM system in a correct way.
  • You give training/support services to customers related to a particular product usage and good clinical practice.
  • You participate in requests for clinical evaluations on territory and to be available to assist with the same on adjacent territories.
  • You report regularly to customer services any changes on the territory in order to maintain the optimum customer database.
  1. General
  • You support the sales manager to increase revenue for that business sector.
  • You support new product introductions with targeted accounts.
  • You address any customer issues if needed to escalate to management.
  • Data quality is important: reports are of a good and relevant information and deadlines are always met.
  • You have a good understanding of the local market and is always looking for new ways to develop skills.
  • As a sales specialist, you deals effectively with objections sometimes pre-empts them.
  • You are accountable and answerable for own actions and results.


  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent/ 2  A Levels
  • Experienced in a sales role, minimum of four years.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to manage time effectively.
  • Proactive team player.
  • Excellent working relationship with all TUK employees, TE and customers.
  • Shows drive and determination for all tasks.  You take ownership of you own work.
