The Interventional Systems division provides high quality, cutting-edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels. We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for coronary (IC) and peripheral diseases (PI), and oncological indications. (IO)

Job Summary


As a Product Specialist in our sales department, you will be responsible for promoting our IO portfolio in Switzerland. Your goal is to support as well as initiate sales in targeted accounts. As you will be responsible for entire Switzerland, you preferably living in the area of Bern. 

Job Responsibilities


  • Consultation, guidance, explanation and training of colleagues and customers to ensure the correct application and usage of our products and procedures in the Interventional Oncology (IO) portfolio
  • Interface and point of contact between/for customer and internal sales and marketing department for operational and application-related inquiries
  • Main contact for the area of IO Alpine for colleagues in the European Headquarter in Belgium
  • Operational and content support during congresses and symposia
  • Independent organization and execution of workshops
  • Maintaining a great relationship with customers to enable application-related product evaluation, market observation and the support of product development
  • Ensuring best possible use and application of IO products according to the respective guidelines

Profile Description


  • Ideally experience in the application of (Terumo) products and therapies in the field of interventional oncology (IO) within hospitals or similar professional experience
  • Experience in sales in a similar position will be a plus
  • Good practical knowledge of Sales & Marketing techniques 
  • Good knowledge in anatomy, physiology and interventional oncological within medical technology preferable
  • pedagogic-didactic skills and willigness to learn and develop yourself continuously 
  • Quick perception, strong organizational skills as well as structured approach
  • Flexibiliy, indipendent and objective oriented approach
  • Good analytical and communicative skills especially in regards to different target groups
  • Fluent in German and French (one of both native), very good command in English
  • Practiced in dealing with MS Office, experience in Salesforce is an advantage
  • Flexible to travel intensivelely (approx. 80%)
