The Interventional Systems division provides high quality, cutting-edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels. We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for coronary and peripheral diseases, and oncological indications.

Job Summary

As passionate Sales Representative you will find the optimal solution to sell and promote our high-quality products to our existing customer as well as develop new accounts, to achieve the accountable sales targets and to expand the market share of the Terumo EVI products in the South of The Netherlands.

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure market and product knowledge:

- You'll ensure up-to-date knowledge of the market drivers, the competition, market positioning, evolutions within the field, …;

- You'll ensure a complete understanding and consideration of customer requirements;

- You'll meet with marketing to implement the defined appropriate product and technical support

 

2. Achievement sales and profit targets:

- You'll have to manage all sales activities for the EVI portfolio in the South of The Netherlands.

- You’ll set together with the Sales Manager, the targets and price levels and follow up the results;

- You'll also assist the Sales Manager in analysing all problems, related to his/her product group/territory, propose and plan corrective actions in order to reach the objectives and targets;

- You’ll assist to obtain the gross profit of the business and the sales development for a product group/territory;

- You’ll market mapping will also be one of your tasks: meaning you'll have to be able to examine the market conditions and identify trends in order to facilitate the strategy build by the product manager and sales manager

 

3. Implement marketing & sales strategy:

- You'll have to implement defined strategies and develop tactics in order to improve the sales and profitability of his/her product group/territory together with sales management;

- You'll assist to search for new sales methods and possibilities; as well as assists in establishing the adequate sales channels and improve the quality of a product group;

- You'll search for active collaboration with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Regulatory Affairs) in order to deliver the sales plan;

- You'll have to act as contact for the medical & clinical department concerning clinical trials conducted in his/her region;

- You'll maintain excellent relation with external official parties, authorities and organisations

 

4. Manage congresses:

- You'll have to be present on local conferences, congresses, trade firs to represent the company towards the target market

 

5. Train internal and external customers:

- You'll give and set-up training programmes for external and internal customers (search for the needs of a technical training) in collaboration with the Product Manager.

 

6. QA/RA procedures:

 -You'll complaint handling;

- You’ll correct and complete CRM reporting (salesforce)

Profile Description

- Master or bachelor degree in Medical or Paramedical orientation

- A background in nursing is a great asset

- You have 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in similar function or you come straight out of the OR of Cathlab working with Terumo or simular products.

- Practical knowledge of Sales techniques is an asset

- Good working knowledge of English and Dutch (written and spoken)

- Preferably having network of Vascular Surgeons in The Netherlands.

- Acquaintance and knowledge of the local market is a considerable asset

- Be a flexible team player, be able to work independently, prioritize own work and maintain confidentiality of information

- Have a positive attitude and be pro-active, have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure and within short time constraints.

- Show drive and determination for all tasks.
