The Finance Business Partnering department is part of the Terumo Europe Finance organisation. The team has offers strategic and financial advice to support decision making and ensure sustainable and profitable growth. The Finance Business Partner team coordinates with other Terumo Europe finance departments (Accounting, Credit Control, Tax, Process & technology) to ensure efficiencies throughout the finance organisation.
Job Summary
As the Finance Business Partner Incentives you will be primarily responsible for the incentives calculation for our commercial organisation (approx. 800 FTE). You'll make sure calculations are compliant, accurate and executed timely. You'll work closely together with HR and business leaders to gather all required information in order to perform the calculations.
You will also take on a role as Finance Business Partner offering strategic advise to our business units, supporting our efforts in achieving sustainable and profitable growth. These activities will be related to budgeting, forecasting and expense analysis.
Job Responsibilities
1. Incentive Calculations (60%)
- Prepare and validate incentive calculation tools (Excel).
- Perform quarterly incentive calculations and maintain models.
- Communicate results to stakeholders and ensure compliance with internal rules.
2. Data Management and Reporting
- Gather and analyze data for accurate incentive calculations.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on incentive payouts, indicate misalignment between added value and payout.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in data sources.
- Work with HR to gather necessary data.
- Communicate with managers and assist in designing new incentive programs.
- Build strong relationships with other finance departments.
3. Financial Support (40%)
- Provide financial support for BU leads and members with focus on expense budgets.
- Responsible for monthly closing activities and P&L analytics.
- Coordinate budget preparation and ensure realistic targets.
- Support and analyze financial forecasts and propose countermeasures.
4. Process Improvement:
- Recommend process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
- Facilitate process improvements and share best practices.
Profile Description
Education: University degree in Applied Economics, Controlling, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Controlling/Finance in an international environment. Experience with incentives or bonus calculations is preferred.
