Department Info

The Terumo Europe Supply Chain team brings together planning, warehousing, transport, and customer service to deliver an integrated, end-to-end supply chain across the EMEA region. Working in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, the team ensures reliable product availability while balancing service, cost, and efficiency. With a strong focus on alignment and continuous improvement, the team supports business performance in a dynamic and international environment.
 
This position is offered as a fixed-term contract of 10 months. Please note that visa sponsorship and relocation support are not provided for this role.
 
The selection process will require on-site interview & abstract reasoning testing 

Job Summary

As a Supply Planner, you play a key role in ensuring product availability across the supply chain while balancing service levels, inventory, and cost efficiency. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and respond to supply and demand changes.

You’ll be part of a collaborative Supply Chain Planning team, contributing to the smooth execution of the S&OP process and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise inventory levels in line with business strategy and customer service targets
  • Monitor supply and demand to ensure product availability while respecting cost and lead time constraints
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, Customer Service, and suppliers
  • Identify, analyse, and proactively manage supply and inventory risks
  • Contribute to the S&OP process, including preparing for supply review meetings and follow-ups
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and supply chain projects

Profile Description

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field - Candidates with relevant experience will also be considered 
  • Experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or inventory management (5+ years)
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify issues
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions
  • Structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach
  • Comfortable working with planning tools (e.g. SAP) and MS Office
  • Fluent in English
