Our portfolio includes:

  • Advanced Infusion Systems (Terufusion): innovative syringe and volumetric infusion pumps designed to support accurate and reliable infusion therapy while making everyday use easier for healthcare professionals.
  • Injection & Access: a broad portfolio of high-quality syringes, needles, IV catheters, and winged infusion sets used by healthcare professionals across a wide range of clinical settings.

 

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Junior Product Specialist who combines clinical expertise with a passion for medical technology, education, and customer support to be a part of the Marketing Team.

 

Job Summary

 

As a Junior Product Specialist – Hospital Care Solutions, you will provide clinical, technical, and educational support to healthcare professionals and distribution partners, helping them use our products safely and effectively.

 

You will work closely with nurses, physicians, biomedical teams, distributors, and Terumo colleagues, supporting product evaluations, clinical trials, training, and new product introductions.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Clinical & Technical Support

  • Provide clinical and technical support for our HCS portfolio to hospitals, clinics, and distribution partners.
  • Support product evaluations and clinical trials at customer sites, including activities related to tenders and new business opportunities.
  • Respond to clinical and technical enquiries and identify appropriate solutions based on customer needs.
  • Provide follow-up support to healthcare professionals and assist with field clinical investigations when required.
  • Support market assessments and customer feedback activities related to new product launches.

 

Training & Education

  • Train nurses, physicians, biomedical teams, and distributor staff on the safe and effective use of Terumo products.
  • Organize and deliver product demonstrations, clinical education, and certification programs.
  • Support "train-the-trainer" initiatives, enabling customers and partners to further develop product knowledge within their organizations.
  • Share clinical expertise and support the training of internal colleagues when required.

 

Sales & Marketing Support

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing colleagues to support customer engagement and commercial activities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support product and marketing activities, including tender documentation, technical documentation, certificates, and customized materials.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Terumo products, services, and relevant competitive developments.

 

Events & Collaboration

  • Support the organization of local congresses, distributor training sessions, seminars, and other customer events.
  • Represent Terumo by providing clinical and technical expertise during congresses and professional meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Europe and contribute to broader HCS initiatives and projects.

 

Profile Description

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, combined with professional experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical device environment.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong interest in medical technology and the motivation to develop your clinical and technical expertise.
  • Experience with Vascular Access devices is a plus.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and training skills.
  • Customer-oriented, proactive, and comfortable building relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international European team.
  • Native-level French and fluent English; additional European languages are an asset.
  • Willing and able to travel frequently across the territory and Europe (approximately 40%).
