The Interventional Systems division (TIS) delivers innovative, high-quality solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, as well as interventional procedures. We focus on minimally invasive therapies that reduce the physical burden on patients. Our portfolio includes diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO).

 

Job Summary

 

As an Account Manager in our Interventional Systems Cardiology division, you will play a vital role in driving market growth and strengthening Terumo’s presence within the Alpine region. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building long-term customer relationships, and ensuring successful market penetration of our cardiology solutions. Acting as the bridge between Terumo and healthcare providers, you will represent our technologies with professionalism, support key accounts, and contribute directly to achieving sales and profitability targets

 

Your regional scope will involve the western part of Switzerland. 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Sales & Market Development

  • Plan, implement, and control sales programs to increase market penetration and profitability.
  • Achieve sales and profit targets across all assigned product groups.
  • Support new product introductions and manage follow-up with targeted accounts

 

Key Account Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Facilitate and coordinate all Key Account activities in collaboration with the Sales Manager and cross-functional teams.
  • Address customer issues effectively, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where necessary

 

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Act as a key representative of Terumo towards healthcare professionals, institutions, and third parties.
  • Contribute to budget development, monitor performance, and provide regular reports.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and Intellectual Property departments regarding commercial, technical, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Act as complaint coordinator (PPR) when required

 

Customer Commitment

  • Deliver a high standard of service and results that exceed customer and market expectations.
  • Ensure regular and frequent communication with key accounts, demonstrating Terumo’s commitment to their needs.

 

Profile Description

 

  • Higher education or university degree in medical, paramedical, or another relevant discipline.

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in a similar sales or account management role, ideally within the medical device or healthcare sector.

  • Strong practical knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.

  • Excellent command of English and French (spoken and written). Procicieny in Germany will be a significant plus.

  • Ability to work independently while being a strong contributor in a European-wide team environment.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize and perform under pressure.

  • A proactive, positive, and flexible team player with high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
