As Account Manager, you will join a dynamic and highly collaborative commercial team of five sales and marketing professionals, dedicated to driving growth within Terumo's Interventional Systems (TIS) portfolio. Operating at the crossroads of sales, marketing, clinical support and customer relationship management, this team works closely with internal stakeholders such as Product Management, Regulatory Affairs and the other business units to deliver high‑quality solutions to healthcare professionals and institutions.

Job Summary

 

In this role, you are responsible for achieving sales growth, delivering expert product support, and shaping market presence within the South-Eastern Poland territory, focusing on our interventional cardiology and endovascular intervention product groups. You combine deep market insight with customer‑driven strategies to contribute to the business objectives. You serve as a trusted partner to clinicians, support clinical and marketing initiatives, and ensure the flawless execution of sales tactics, all while representing Terumo in the field.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of market drivers, competitive landscape, product positioning and evolving trends, ensuring customer needs are fully understood and integrated into your approach.
  • Manage all sales activities within your territory/product group, jointly defining targets and price levels with the Sales Manager and ensuring consistent follow-up and performance monitoring.
  • Analyse challenges and opportunities related to your assigned portfolio, proposing corrective actions to secure sales and profit objectives while contributing to strategic market mapping.
  • Implement the marketing and sales strategy, translating defined plans into concrete tactics to improve sales, profitability and product quality, while identifying new sales methods and channel opportunities.
  • Build strong collaboration with internal stakeholders (BU’s, RA, marketing, ...) and maintain excellent, proactive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and external authorities.
  • Act as the primary contact for the EMCD department regarding clinical trials conducted in your region.
  • Represent Terumo at local conferences, congresses and trade fairs to create visibility, strengthen relationships and support commercial goals.
  • Set up and deliver internal and external training programs, identifying technical training needs in collaboration with the Product Manager.
  • Ensure compliant and accurate execution of QA/RA procedures, including complaint handling and complete CRM reporting.
  • Provide a monthly detailed report to support transparent communication and act as a representative of the company for third parties. 

Profile Description

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Medical or Paramedical field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar commercial/clinical support role.
  • Practical knowledge of sales techniques and a proven track record in a target-driven environment.
  • An established network of Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists and/or Interventional Cardiologists.
  • A flexible and proactive team player, able to work independently, prioritize tasks and maintain strict confidentiality of information.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates drive, determination and a positive, results-oriented mindset. 
  • Fluency in Polish and English.
