Job Summary

As our Validation Engineer you evaluate and challenge the design concept through criticality assessment and translate this into clear input for test approach and the plan for further validation. You ensure Terumo Europe's compliancy and high standards by setting up internal standards & processes and guiding the organization to this result. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as SME for all validation aspects 
  • List critical characteristics together with designer, Product Lifecycle Management Lead and Quality Engineer 
  • Create criticality assessment based on concepts. 
  • Create validation plan/strategy-based CA to enable most efficient testing/validation. 
  • Collect feedback from engineering studies & keep validation strategy for product & process up to date. 
  • Communicate validation strategy with build and test & CFT to ensure seamless transition 
  • Manage and standardise flow: SPOC - FMEA - Control plan 

Profile Description

  • You have a Master's degree in engineering or equivalent 
  • Work experience in the related competence field in a comparable function is nice to have
  •  Knowledge of MS office word/excel, SAP is a plus
  • You're fluent in English and Dutch (or have the willingness to improve basic Dutch) 
  • Experience in data analysis (knowledge of Minitab is a plus) 
  • A team player with strong communication skills is essential because of the contact with various stakeholders
  • Must be able to work autonomously and take initiatives
  • Customer focus is crucial to be able to translate a technical report into a clear overview for the customer
  • A critical mindset (with the aim of continuously improving the current validation processes)
