Telling a unique story, which is Terumo Europe, is the purpose of the Corporate Communications Team. We exist to inform and inspire everyone, through the management of internal and external corporate communications across EMEA. Our aim is to facilitate open and effective communication, as well as providing the communication tools which will enable the business in their endeavors.

 

Strengthening the Terumo brand and celebrating the Terumo culture forms the core of our job. The team organizes corporate events, collaboration opportunities and sustainable activities to help build bridges between communities inside and outside the Terumo organization. 
 

Internship Project Summary

 

We are seeking a dynamic and creative intern to join our Corporate Communications team made up of 4 people. You will be given the opportunity to learn about and contribute to the success of our international internal communications and social media initiatives across the EMEA region, covering 1.600 employees. 

 

Additionally, you will be given the trust and the support you need to take ownership of a dedicated project. 

 

You will work in an excellent environment for you to thrive in, share your fresh perspectives and gain hands-on experience in the world of corporate communications.

 

Besides, you will be a part of our student community where you can join numerous events, including gaining valuable insights from high-ranking leaders within our organization.
 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in developing, editing, and proofreading content for various internal communications channels.
  • Support the roll out of a broad scaled and modern employee experience platform.
  • Participate in team meetings to generate fresh ideas on various internal communications topics and social media content.
  • Assist in shaping and coordinating engaging employee ‘fun’ activities and events.
  • Work on graphical design of various communications materials – all aimed at creating attractive internal and external content.
  • Assist the production of video recordings in our very own TV studio to bring news and stories to live.
  • Collaborate with team members to create engaging content for LinkedIn, aligned with the Terumo Europe brand and messaging.
  • Take ownership of a designated project within the internal communications or social media realm, with support of the team members as required.
     

Profile Description

 

  • You are studying a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, (Digital) Marketing, Design or related field and are available to work in our HQ in Leuven at least 3 days per week in the coming 3 months or longer.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You are a creative and active student with a lot of energy to take up multiple projects.
  • You have a hands-on attitude and are very creative; out-of-the-box thinking and doing.
  • You are tech-, social- and digital savvy – affinity with social- and digital media.
  • You are familiar with content creation tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, PowerPoint, …).
  • You are an organized individual, comfortable making plans and schedules.
