Job Summary
Are you passionate about data, communication, and digital learning? Join Terumo Europe’s Data Office as a Data Portal & Data Literacy Intern and help us build the company’s internal Data Portal, a single, user-friendly entry point for all data-related knowledge, including policies, standards, training, and best practices
In this role, you will create and curate engaging content, translate technical or regulatory material into accessible learning modules, and help strengthen data literacy across the organization. This internship provides a unique opportunity to combine data governance, content design, and knowledge management in a real-world corporate setting.
Job Responsibilities
Data Portal Build Out
• Create and maintain intranet pages for policies, standards, FAQs, glossaries, and project hubs
• Curate and embed trusted external resources such as Gartner or academic content while respecting licensing and access controls
• Draft concise explainers, visuals, and how-to content to simplify complex topics
• Structure navigation, tags, and basic taxonomy to enhance findability and user experience
Training and Data Literacy (Articulate)
• Convert NIS2 and governance-related content into engaging e-learning materials, including

- Data Classification Policy
- Data Handling Policy
- Technical Implementation for non-engineers
- Adoption and Training modules (micro learning, videos, playbooks
• Produce short videos, screencasts, and quizzes using Articulate or similar tools
• Develop micro learning paths and knowledge checks for data awareness programs
Quality, Compliance, and Upkeep
• Apply version control, approval workflows, and accessibility or branding standards
• Monitor basic engagement metrics such as page views or quiz completions
• Recommend improvements based on feedback and analytics
Collaboration and Process Documentation
• Collaborate with the Terumo Europe Data Manager, Security, Compliance, PMO, and project teams
• Document repeatable processes such as templates, checklists, and content update workflows
• Contribute ideas for improving knowledge sharing and long-term portal sustainability
Profile Description
Must Haves
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Information Systems, Data, Computer Science, Business, Communications, or a related field
• Excellent English writing, editing, and structuring skills (C1 level or higher)
• Practical experience with Articulate or similar e-learning authoring tools and proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to translate complex policy or technical material into clear, visual, and actionable content
• Awareness of GDPR, copyright, and licensing considerations when curating external resources
Nice to Haves (or Fast Learner)
• Understanding of information architecture principles such as navigation, tagging, taxonomy, and findability
• Familiarity with data governance concepts including data quality, metadata, and master data management
• Basic media skills such as screen capture, video trimming, or image editing
• Ability to analyze engagement data using Excel or Power BI
• Willingness to learn about Terumo’s systems such as SAP MDG, Salesforce, Data Catalogue Tools, and Power BI
