Environment, Health & Safety management is part of the daily operations and contributes to the continuity of Terumo Europe N.V. It is based on its corporate mission, “Contributing to Society through Healthcare.”

The EHS team supports Terumo EMEA in preventing accidents, reducing EHS risks, complying to EHS regulations and reducing our environmental impact.

Job Summary

As EHS&S Coordinator EMEA, you will provide expert support to the employer, leadership, and employees in the planning, development, and implementation of the EHS policy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure EHS compliance across the EMEA region, aligned with internal standards and local legislation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support incident investigations in collaboration with teams.
  • Maintain and improve the EHS management system (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
  • Promote safety culture through training, onboarding, and awareness initiatives.
  • Lead EHS projects and implement policies and procedures across sites.
  • Monitor health risks, environmental performance, and safety metrics.
  • Support audits, certifications, and due diligence activities.
  • Ensure equipment safety, permit compliance, and regulatory conformity.
  • Participate in EHS meetings and develop improvement programs (e.g. office ergonomics, road safety).
  • Conduct inspections, follow up on corrective actions, and keep procedures up to date.
  • Collaborate closely with the TE EHS team and ensure security compliance across TE offices, the Haasrode headquarters, and various Business Units. 

Profile Description

What You Bring

  • Certified Prevention Advisor Level II.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Solid experience in EHS, preferably within office environments.
  • Familiarity with psychosocial well-being topics is a strong plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Reporting directly to the Head of EHS EMEA.
