Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer in our Leverkusen plant, you ensure the reliable, safe, and compliant operation of our production, utility, and facility systems. You take operational responsibility for critical technical infrastructure such as HVAC, electrical systems, utilities, and cleanroom environments. With a strong focus on GMP, ISO, and safety compliance, you maintain and continuously improve our technical landscape. By driving modernization, automation, and digitalization initiatives, you help shape the future performance and efficiency of our Leverkusen plant.
Job Responsibilities
- Operational responsibility for technical systems

- Ensure reliable, uninterrupted operation of production, utility and building systems, including HVAC, electrical and energy systems
- Monitor system performance and identify deviations proactively
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and coordinate timely repairs
- GMP, compliance, quality and documentation

- Adhere to GMP, ISO, safety and hygiene regulations for production areas and clean rooms
- Perform and document calibration and maintenance activities according to regulatory requirements
- Support audits and implement corrective or preventive actions when needed
- Technical improvements and modernization

- Contribute to modernization, automation and digitalization initiatives that improve infrastructure performance
- Identify and implement optimization opportunities for system stability, energy efficiency, and equipment lifecycle management
- Support technical projects within the facility, bringing ideas from concept to implementation
- Cross-functional collaboration

- Communicate technical issues, risks and updates effectively across departments
- Provide dependable support in high-risk situations and contribute to on-call coverage when required
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align technical activities with operational needs and maintain safe, compliant, and efficient processes
Profile Description
-
Degree in Process engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or comparable studies; or state-certified technician in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Systems Engineering, Building Services or Mechatronics

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with technical building systems, utilities, production technologies, HVAC/R and electrical infrastructure
- Solid understanding of GMP and ISO requirements, ideally in a regulated industrial environment

Familiarity with building automation and management systems (GLT/BMS) as well as SAP is considered a plus

Strong analytical skills with a structured and solution-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent German communication skills (C1 level or above) with strong working knowledge of English
