At Terumo's Haasrode/Leuven site, facility services play a critical role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment. These services support both the operational needs of the production areas and the comfort and functionality of office spaces. 

Job Summary

The Facility Operations Coordinator Soft Services & Design is responsible for coordinating and optimizing facility services, as well as following up on small-scale projects within the department.

Job Responsibilities

As Facility Operations Coordinator Soft Services & Design, you will be responsible for the coordination and continuous improvement of soft services on-site. You’ll manage external vendors, ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards, and support various facility-related projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize soft services (e.g., cleaning, pest control).
  • Manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Drive service improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor budgets and maintain accurate planning and reporting.
  • Act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Support facility projects, events, and technical documentation.
  • Assist Facility Engineers and handle procurement tasks.
  • Serve as backup for the Facility Coordinator Hard Services.

Profile Description

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, or have equivalent experience.
  • You bring at least 3 years of experience in a similar soft services role, ideally within a GMP-regulated environment where compliance is key.
  • You possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • You are proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with tools like SAP.
  • You have a customer-focused and proactive mindset.
  • You’re experienced in contract management and vendor coordination.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
