As part of our global finance organization, this role supports two strategically important global functions: Global Business Services (GBS) and Global Information Security.

 

Operating in an international and highly collaborative environment, you will work closely with global leadership, regional finance teams, Tax, Legal, and Corporate Finance to drive financial transparency, governance, and decision-making across the organization.

Job Summary

As Finance Controller – GBS & Global Information Security, you will play a key role in strengthening financial governance, cost transparency, and strategic decision-making across both functions.

 

You will lead financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and cost allocation activities while ensuring compliance with global financial, tax, and transfer pricing requirements. Acting as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, you will provide actionable insights that support investment decisions, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic objectives.

 

The role operates within a dual-reporting structure, with a direct reporting line to the Regional HQ CFO (depending on location) and a dotted-line reporting relationship to both the Global Executive in Charge of Information Security and the Global GBS Leader.

Job Responsibilities

Cost Allocation & Financial Structuring

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of global cost allocation methodologies for GBS and Information Security.
  • Ensure allocation models comply with transfer pricing principles and tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with Tax, Legal, Corporate Finance, and local finance teams to validate allocation frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate and optimize allocation drivers such as FTEs, service consumption, technology usage, and regional footprint.
  • Promote transparency, consistency, and fairness in global cost allocation practices.

 

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Own and coordinate the annual budgeting process for both GBS and Information Security.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, providing insight into variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop multi-year financial plans that support strategic initiatives and long-term business objectives.
  • Partner closely with GBS and Information Security leadership to drive accountability and forecast accuracy.

 

Reporting, Governance & Financial Insights

  • Deliver meaningful financial reporting and management information to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide clear visibility into costs, investments, and performance.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data, cost coding, allocations, and reporting structures.
  • Align reporting processes with SAP, Group Reporting, BlackLine, and other global financial systems.

 

Cost Management & Operational Excellence

  • Conduct in-depth cost analyses to identify efficiency opportunities and support cost optimization initiatives.
  • Provide financial modeling, business cases, and ROI assessments for transformation and technology investments.
  • Improve data quality and streamline financial processes across global and regional teams.
  • Support governance and control improvements across key GBS processes, including Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Accounts Receivable, Travel & Expense, and Procurement.

 

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a trusted finance business partner to the Global Executive in Charge of Information Security, the Global GBS Leader, and their leadership teams.
  • Build strong relationships with regional Finance Business Partners and local finance organizations worldwide.
  • Translate complex financial data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Support executive reviews, steering committees, and global performance discussions.
  • Challenge and influence stakeholders constructively to drive informed decision-making.

Profile Description

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in Finance Controlling, FP&A, Shared Services, IT Finance, or a similar international environment.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and cost allocation methodologies.
  • Experience working with global functions and complex multinational cost structures.
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing principles and international cost allocation frameworks is an asset.
  • Proficiency in SAP FI/CO, Group Reporting, Power BI, BlackLine, or similar financial systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Comfortable working in a global, matrix-based environment with a strong focus on governance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
