Job Summary

As the Content Manager you develop content strategies to contribute to the TIS business objectives achievement.You support brand identity and online presence through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content. 
You oversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience. You build, develop and manage a team to execute the strategy. In this position, you report to the Brand Manager TIS EMEA.

The person in this position will operate based out of Rueil-Malmaison (Paris area, FRANCE) or Leuven (BELGIUM).

Job Responsibilities

1. Strategy and planning

  • Develop and define content strategy and editorial calendars for key campaigns and product launches in collaboration with Group Manager Marketing Communications, Brand Manager and other stakeholders
  • Create content strategy proposals for various projects together with Brand Manager, Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing stakeholders including various content formats such as print, digital, video etc.
  • Develop content architecture to support content strategy execution in all scope channels and languages
  • Ensure all content channels are relevant, compliant and up to date 
  • Manage projects, timelines and deliverables when working with agencies or internal associates on content development
  • Support development and implementation of necessary processes and tools for managing, updating and distribution of content together with Digital Applications team
  • Ensure alignment for owned content as per brand guidelines
  • Take initiative to identify process gaps with respect to content and convert into an action plan with demonstrable results
  • Propose improvements towards Digital Channel Manager based on content development to extend content types across channels
  • Measure, analyse and document performance of various content types and assets to adjust future content creation plans accordingly.
  • Stay up to date with developments and generate new ideas to draw Marketing communications team and stakeholder’s attention
  • Able to develop and write engaging content towards social media, Intranet, Newsletter etc.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of Terumo product's, customers and buyer’s journey

 

2. Branding 

  • Protect brand integrity by ensuring that the TIS verbal guidelines respected for internal and external communications
  • Conduct content audits to assess compliance of verbal guidelines with content writers or producers both internally and externally

 

3. Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with law of all content produced (e.g. copyright and data protection)
  • Responsible to keep all related audit information in order and manage as per internal process of approval of promotional materials
  • Conduct content audits to assess compliance of approved promotional material
  • Provide approved content for distribution both internally and externally

 

4. Management 

  • Manage one-person team and build towards working autonomously
  • Manage external production suppliers 
  • Single point of contact to manage requests coming from EMEA entity countries for content and translations

 

5. Miscellaneous

  • Report regularly on the budget and expenses 
  • Manage order creation, payments and receipts
  • Support in internal budgetary processes (CAS, expense planning etc.)
     
Profile Description

The candidate we're looking for, has the following profile: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, media, journalism or a comparable field
  • 5-10 years working experience in a similar position
  • First-hand experience on building content strategy and content architecture for multinational organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in developing content for traditional, digital and new media
  • Experience developing content supporting B2B, life science or Medical device markets is an asset
  • Strong understanding of customer journey maps, customer segmentation concepts, and customer personas
  • Exhibit proficiency in popular content management systems
  • Experience working with and managing multiple agencies and vendors
  • Exhibits proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and basic technical knowledge of digital channels (Web, Social media, e-mail, Intranet etc.) 
  • Ability to develop original content which is creative and engaging
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in spoken and written (specifically English)
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish projects with little or no supervision, both in a team atmosphere and independently, with strong organisation and management skills
  • You are excited to start working in an European wide team. You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • You'll operate based out of Leuven (BELGIUM) or Rueil-Malmaison (Paris area, FRANCE).
  • You're open for travelling (on average 2-3/month, 2 days (1 night)).
