Job Summary

The Global Talent Solutions Manager at Terumo plays a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation & continuous improvement of global programs/projects in the areas of talent management, succession planning & learning & development. This position requires a combination of HR expertise, strong communication skills, coordination abilities, and change management proficiency. Striving for innovation, the Talent Solutions Manager will champion a Growth Mindset in leading & directing the community of local process owners and/or change managers to drive the implementation of new programs into daily reality, with initially a primary focus on ONE Connect (ie. Terumo's internal Talent Market Place) but not limited to it. This role reports into the SVP Global HR Strategy. We are open to hire in all Geographies.

Job Responsibilities

1. Community Building and Coordination:

Establish and nurture a community of local process owners and change managers across different Terumo entities & regions. Influence, challenge & stimulate such communities to drive ONE Connect adoption.

Facilitate regular communication channels (e.g., monthly calls, forums) to share best practices, address challenges, and promote collaboration.

Drive engagement by creating content and foster a sense of ownership among community members.

 

2. ONE Connect Evaluation:

Suggest and present metrics to the Change Advisory Board (CAB) that evaluate the success of ONE Connect for the Terumo Group.

Own and follow up on ONE Connect guidelines, driving continuous improvement.

 

3. Global Metrics and Reporting:

Monitor global metrics related to ONE Connect, and potential other global processes, and report findings to the CAB.

Collaborate with Local Business Process Owners to address any necessary follow-up actions.

 

4. ONE Connect Expansion:

Detect areas for improvement in ONE Connect, based on input from local business owners and our supplier (GLOAT).

Build business cases, in collaboration with impacted local business owners, for changes within ONE Connect and present them to the CAB.

Support new expansion projects by working with to-be-formed project teams.

 

5. Communication with External Partners:

Attend External Partner webinars and stay informed about new trends or improved features of our existing partners.

Engage with External Partners/Suppliers on operational topics & follow up on recurring business issues.

 

6. Change Management: Global Business Process Owners Community Coordination:

Suggest a global change management strategy, taking the complex Terumo organization into account.

Drive the execution of the global change strategy, fostering global engagement.

Coordinate local process owners/change agents through periodical global calls to share best practices and discuss issues related to change.

Direct global communication to associates to drive change and bring new processes into daily reality (e.g., global newsletters, competitions, surveys, LinkedIn articles etc). Be responsible for the ONE Connect intranet site structure & regular content updates.

 

7. Training:

Develop, plan & organize the training strategy after project rollout.

Continuously evaluate & adjust as necessary the global training strategy in coordination with Local Trainers (covering general training and recruiter training).

Monitor the implementation of the training strategy throughout Terumo organization.

 

8. Other Global Program/Project Rollout Support:

Provide involvement and support for the successful rollout of other global programs/projects in the Talent Management & succession planning, learning & development areas.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and adoption.

Profile Description

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.


Over 5 years of proven experience in HR or Project Management in a multinational.  Experience with change management is a must.  Having experience with program management is a clear asset. 

Excellent communication and coordination skills to enable you to navigate a complex and multicultural ecosystem. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively remotely & flexibility to adapt to multiple time zones. Facilitation skills are a must.


Ability to manage ambiguity, translate global objectives to tangible actions and results & lead through influence.


Fluent in English.
