Department Info
The Learning & Development (L&D) team is part of the People Solutions team within the HR Department at Terumo Europe.
Our team consists of four L&D professionals dedicated to supporting employees across Terumo Europe. We partner with the organization to identify learning and development needs, design growth opportunities, and provide coaching support that enables employees and teams to reach their full potential.
Job Summary
As a Learning & Development Intern, you will support the design, coordination, communication, and evaluation of learning initiatives across Terumo EMEA. You will gain hands-on experience in corporate learning, leadership development, digital learning technologies, and employee development while contributing to projects that help associates learn, grow, and perform at their best.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with HR, business leaders, managers, and associates in an international environment.
Job Responsibilities
Learning Administration & Coordination
- Support the planning, scheduling, and organization of training sessions, workshops, and learning events.
- Coordinate participant registrations, communications, and logistics.
- Maintain learning records and training documentation.
- Assist with learning evaluations and reporting.
Digital Learning & Technology
- Support the administration of Terumo's learning platform (DOJO/LXP).
- Upload and maintain learning content.
- Test & create e-learnings and digital learning resources.
- Help improve the user experience of learning platforms and tools.
Learning Projects
- Contribute to leadership development programs, Skill Labs, onboarding initiatives, and Learning Weeks.
- Assist in creating learning materials, presentations, job aids, and communication campaigns.
- Support the implementation of new learning solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct research on learning trends, best practices, and innovative development approaches.
Communication & Engagement
- Create engaging learning communications for Viva Engage, SharePoint, newsletters, and email campaigns.
- Develop visual and creative content to promote learning opportunities.
- Support initiatives that encourage a culture of continuous learning.
Data & Reporting
- Analyse learning participation and feedback data.
- Create dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Identify insights and opportunities to improve learning effectiveness.
Profile Description
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Human Resources
- Psychology
- Educational Sciences
- Business Management
- Communication
- Or a related field
- Preferably in the 2nd or 3rd year of your Bachelor's degree, or currently enrolled in a Master's program.
- Available for an internship of 3 to 6 months, starting between September 2026 and March 2027.
- Strong interest in Learning & Development and people development.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
- Experience with SharePoint, learning platforms, design tools, or AI tools is a plus.
- Creative mindset with a passion for improving learning experiences.
