The Learning & Development (L&D) team is part of the People Solutions team, in the HR Department of Terumo Europe.
We are a team of 4 L&D professionals, supporting the whole Terumo Europe organistation with learning & development needs and coaching opportunities.
Job Summary
Are you driven by the desire to help people grow and succeed? As an L&D Partner for the Operations Department, you’ll play a key role in shaping learning and development across our EMEA teams.
You’ll work closely with HR, managers, and employees to build impactful learning strategies, coach leaders, and create tailored development experiences that meet real business needs—right in the flow of work and life. This is your chance to turn learning into action and create meaningful change across a dynamic, operations-driven environment. This position reports to the L&D Lead EMEA, Vanessa Daubner.
Job Responsibilities
Be a strategic learning partner: You’ll advise, coach, and inspire colleagues across HR and the business, offering expert guidance on learning strategies and development planning.
Design impactful learning: In collaboration with our Learning Architect, you’ll co-create solutions that align with both modern learning practices and real organizational challenges.
Develop and deliver programs: You’ll build and run coaching and leadership development programs—from onboarding for new managers to non-hierarchical leadership training for technical leads.
Own key initiatives: You’ll lead high-impact projects like plant expansion plan initiative, working hands-on with technicians and operators to build practical, relevant learning interventions.
Promote a learning culture: You’ll help drive awareness campaigns and foster a 70-20-10 learning environment that encourages continuous growth and a strong development mindset.
Measure what matters: Using learning data and analytics, you’ll evaluate effectiveness, track outcomes, and support smart decision-making through meaningful insights.
Ensure operational excellence: You’ll manage training logistics, coordinate with external partners, and continuously improve learning processes to deliver quality experiences.
Profile Description
You speak and write fluently in Dutch and English. Other European languages are a bonus.
You bring senior-level L&D experience, ideally within an operations-heavy or technical environment.
You know how to engage stakeholders—from the shop floor to senior leadership—with confidence and credibility.
You’re skilled in communication and coaching, and you adapt your style to suit different audiences and situations.
You understand what drives adult learning, and you’re experienced (or familiar) with instructional design, leadership development, and tools like Insights Discovery.
You think in processes and enjoy finding ways to improve them. You’re structured, data-savvy, and always looking for better ways to deliver results.
