Terumo develops products for interventional radiologists that specialize in treating patients with oncological indications. Job Summary


As our Nuclear Laboratory Technician, you will ensure the correct execution of incoming and outgoing product flows. These products are processed in the nuclear lab (hotlab) following rigid regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of our operations. 

 

We are looking for 2 associates to broaden our dedicated team at our site in Amsterdam.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

By fulfilling your role, you will manage a set of tasks, responsibilities and/or authorities among which you will:  

 

  • Perform radiopharmaceutical preparations in a GMP-certified hot lab, strictly following protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Proactively identify and address potential safety, quality, or operational issues.
  • Efficiently manage materials and handle other operational tasks to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Share your expertise by training and mentoring colleagues on hot lab procedures and safety protocols.

 

You will assume all other responsibilities and authorities this function may require regarding new opportunities. 

 

 

Profile Description

 

  • Bachelor's degree (MBO+) or equivalent in a life science field (e.g., chemistry, biology) or related discipline.
  • TMS-VRS-D certification (formerly known as 'stralingsdeskundige niveau 5b') is a significant advantage.
  • Previous experience with working in a GMP lab is considered a strong advantage.
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • High level of accountability and a drive to optimize processes.
  • Problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel to our head office site in Deventer on occasion, averaging 1-2 days a month.
  • Flexibility to work one evening shift per week, based on a rotation scheme.
