The Interventional Systems division (TIS) delivers innovative, high-quality solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, as well as interventional procedures. We focus on minimally invasive therapies that reduce the physical burden on patients. Our portfolio includes diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO).

 

The Commercial Excellence, Pricing & Strategy team empowers the EMEA TIS business to achieve its revenue, market share, and profitability goals. We drive growth through data-driven insights and strategic go-to-market (GTM) transformation.

 

Job Summary

 

As a Pricing Excellence Specialist, you will play a key role in transforming and enhancing our pricing processes, tools, and capabilities across EMEA. You'll help optimize net pricing, support profitable growth through value-based pricing, and contribute to our annual business targets.

 

You’ll serve as a subject matter expert in price data analysis and collaborate closely with Market Intelligence and cross-functional teams to foster pricing maturity within the TIS organization.

 

 

Job Responsibilities


Pricing Strategy

  • Partner with marketing to shape pricing strategies for new product launches
  • Balance value, volume, and revenue considerations to drive pricing effectiveness


Price Setting & Performance

  • Support price increase initiatives and the development of pricing structures across EMEA
  • Contribute to formalizing price lists


Pricing Execution

  • Help local teams implement and utilize pricing tools
  • Manage data flows, user access, and conduct training sessions
  • Monitor price performance and recommend process improvements
  • Provide analytical support for regional and country-specific pricing decisions


Pricing Governance

  • Lead and contribute to pricing transformation projects
  • Align regional reporting with pricing initiatives and refine reporting tools
  • Support the rollout of the Terumo pricing framework
  • Collaborate with commercial teams on regional pricing initiatives and training


Information Management & Tools

  • Support compliance in pricing-related elements of JSOX audits
  • Provide detailed pricing analyses, including segmentation, profitability modeling, and margin improvement recommendations
  • Monitor average selling prices (ASPs) and profitability


Data Integrity

  • Ensure high-quality, reliable pricing data to support decision-making
  • Collaborate on Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives


Collaboration & Training

  • Build strong relationships across departments and countries
  • Share best practices and enhance collective knowledge through training and active participation in EMEA pricing communities

 

Profile Description

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in pricing, marketing, sales, or finance—ideally in international environments.

  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of key pricing concepts.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in pricing tools, data analysis, and statistical tools (Power BI, SAP, databases).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

  • Proven ability to manage projects and work under pressure in dynamic environments.

  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a global mindset and cultural awareness.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
