The Interventional Systems division (TIS) delivers innovative, high-quality solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, as well as interventional procedures. We focus on minimally invasive therapies that reduce the physical burden on patients. Our portfolio includes diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO).
The Commercial Excellence, Pricing & Strategy team empowers the EMEA TIS business to achieve its revenue, market share, and profitability goals. We drive growth through data-driven insights and strategic go-to-market (GTM) transformation
Job Summary
As a Pricing Excellence Specialist, you will play a key role in transforming and enhancing our pricing processes, tools, and capabilities across EMEA. You'll help optimize net pricing, support profitable growth through value-based pricing, and contribute to our annual business targets.
You’ll serve as a subject matter expert in pricing data analysis and reporting and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster pricing maturity within the TIS organization.
You will provide operational support to Sales and Marketing colleagues in the optimal usage and improvement of Pricing-owned tools, including our CPQ module (Salesforce).
Job Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy
- Partner with Marketing to shape pricing strategies for new product launches
- Balance value, volume, and revenue considerations to drive pricing effectiveness
Price Setting & Performance
- Support price increase initiatives and the development of pricing structures across EMEA
- Contribute to formalizing price lists and setting price corridors
Pricing Execution
- Support local teams on a daily basis in the deployment and use of pricing tools (CPQ, PBI reports)
- Manage pricing data updates, user access, and conduct training sessions
- Monitor tools adoption, recommend process improvements, perform grooming and testing of new functionalities
- Provide analytical support for regional and country-specific pricing decisions
Pricing Governance
- Contribute to pricing transformation projects and follow up with the relevant stakeholders (IT, Marketing, local country teams, etc.)
- Provide analytical and operational support during regular Pricing reviews with Sales & Marketing leadership, including building and refining reports
- Collaborate with commercial teams on regional pricing initiatives
Information Management
- Support the implementation of internal pricing audits (Jsox)
- Provide detailed pricing analyses, including segmentation, profitability modeling, and margin improvement recommendations
- Support Pricing Manager in monitoring average selling prices (ASPs) and profitability
Data Integrity
- Ensure high-quality, reliable pricing data to support decision-making
- Collaborate on Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives
Collaboration & Training
- Build strong relationships across departments and countries
- Share best practices and enhance collective knowledge through training and active participation in EMEA pricing communities
Profile Description
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Pricing, Finance, Sales or Marketing —ideally in international environments.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong financial acumen and a deep interest in pricing topics, coupled with a solid understanding of key pricing concepts.
- Experience in pricing tools, data analysis, and statistical tools (Power BI, SAP, databases).
- Good project management skills and a track record in delivering projects in a specified timeline in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with a global mindset and cultural awareness.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
