Job Summary

The Management and Marketing team of THCS works in the EMEA HQ of Terumo, and locally throughout EMEA, Key Account Managers support our distributor network.

 

To offer an optimal sales, marking and service support to our customers - hospitals and distributors - we’re looking to expand our sales team with a junior Product specialist, based in Germany, for the region DACH and Emerging Markets.​​​

The main responsibilities are to perform technical and product support and trainings for our product portfolio.

In parallel, assist product manager in developing Marketing materials & activities related to HCS BU.

Job Responsibilities

1.    You will be present in the market
 
You will visit hospitals and distributors and you will promote our products. You deliver any kind of service in terms of Training, product knowledge, promotional material, tender support and launch of new products, support in local events/congresses.

⦁    Maintain good customer/sales communication and relation, address questions and issues in a professional and timely manner.

⦁    Training & certification of service dealers, distributors and end users

⦁    Regarding our perfusion pumps, you will:

⦁    Deliver user and technical support to service dealers, distributors and end users both in the office and at customer site.
⦁    Perform bench & field servicing which includes software upgrade activities. 
⦁    Planning & reporting on service activities (review and release of servicing reports).

 


2.    Sales & Marketing support


You will support the Key Account Manager in all kinds of sales and marketing activities, like:
⦁    daily marketing tasks e.g; adjusting the marketing material that exists on a BU level to local and distributor needs.
⦁    Tenders: documentation, gather the necessary information like certifications and technical specification sheets

 

3.    Development related tasks 


⦁    Looking for new equipment, applications, technologies and suppliers. Assist in new developments of equipment and software.
⦁    Assist in evaluation and clinical trials (evaluation of prototypes).
⦁    Create and maintain FAQ database with all incoming questions on products.
 

Profile Description

  • Education: Biomedical Engineer or nurse
  • 2 to 3 years working experience in a customer facing role, in sales, marketing, training, …
  • Well-developed computer skills, communication skills, presentation and training skills
  • High personal integrity
  • High relational competences as motivator, and inclined to empowerment of others Networker and connective personality
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English, any other European language is an advantage.
  • You love to travel (up to 50%, are curious and like to discover
