The Interventional Systems division (TIS) provides high quality, cutting-edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels. We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO).
Job Summary
As a Product Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support for our cutting-edge radioembolization solution, Quirem, while also bolstering our existing IO Therapeutic portfolio. Your efforts will strategically position Terumo as a key player in Interventional Oncology, driving growth within our Interventional Systems division.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with medical professionals and Terumo teams to deliver technical support in the operating room.
- Equip Nuclear Medicine Physicians & Interventional Radiologists with tools and clinical evidence to effectively integrate our Holmium-based technology.
- Ensure the precise calibration of technical equipment required for TARE (Transarterial Radioembolization) liver cases.
- Lead the preparation, facilitation, and presentation of Quirem programs to key stakeholders, including NM, IR & Oncologists, and other relevant decision-makers.
- Conduct technical training to certify physicians and medical staff.
- Represent Terumo as a technical expert at industry congresses.
- Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) in collaboration with local representatives and marketing teams.
- Maintain regular communication with ECMD (Terumo Europe's European Clinical & Medical Division) to stay informed about clinical activities.
- Identify potential investigators and collaborate with Medical Advisors to build a robust clinical curriculum with Quirem spheres.
- Coordinate with local sales organizations to promote Quirem technology in centers performing TARE procedures.
- Participate in training programs for sales teams and support the development of marketing tools in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to competitive intelligence efforts by providing relevant information to local and EMEA marketing and sales teams.
Profile Description
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine, Physics, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine department.
- Practical expertise in interventional oncology is highly desirable.
- Experience in selling radiotherapy or knowledge of nuclear medicine is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Spanish and operational-level English (written and oral) is required.
- Willingness to travel throughout Spain and be based in one of the main cities.
