Job Summary

As a QC technician, you conduct tests on finished products, raw materials, and semi-finished products to ensure the quality of the products marketed by TE.  You play an important part making sure that patients are treated with high quality products.

Job Responsibilities

Taking and distributing samples for quality controls of raw materials, finished products and semi-finished products. Archiving and managing retention samples, batch records, test results.

Independently organising and carrying out the necessary test work (chemical, physical/functional and visual inspections) for the procedures prescribed in such a way that it can be finished within the prescribed period. This should be carried out and documented in accordance with the usual GLP/GDP rules.

Administrative processing of the results obtained, and their assessment compared to established specifications. In 'out of spec' results, create non-conformity reports into our ERP system.

Develop and maintain the procedures and standards related to the quality assurance of the materials, components and products in our QMS system (SmartSolve).

Support the business in optimizing and drawing up (new) test methods and the associated equipment.

Identifying, analysing and stopping non-conforming products, CAPA’s or materials and investigate the cause of Quality non-conformances.

Profile Description

You have obtained a professional bachelor’s degree in laboratory techniques (chemistry, microbiology, nutrition, biochemistry…) or have a similar level by experience.

Preferably, you have a first practical experience with quality control of medical equipment and are familiar with our quality standard.

You love to work Independently, in all your activities you are quality-oriented, and have an eye for detail. 

A Practical knowledge of English and information technology is a must to be successful in this role.


We offer a permanent contract, working 39 hours per week.  Besides an attractive salary package, including Pension and Medicash after three months.
