At Terumo Cardiovascular, we develop, manufacture and distribute medical devices for cardiac and vascular surgery with an emphasis on cardiopulmonary bypass, intra-operative monitoring and vascular grafting. This includes a full-line of perfusion products, endoscopic vessel harvesting products and surgical stabilization products. Job Summary
As Regional Sales Manager Cardiovascular Germany & Switzerland, you are responsible for all operational and strategic sales and marketing activities within Germany and Switzerland. In conjunction with the daily activities of product/service sales, your responsibility will be to inform/liaise/cooperate with the Business Director Direct Markets, other sales managers and Terumo Europe.
Job Responsibilities
Sales strategy and - management
- You will develop and implement a regional sales strategy. You draw up sales plans, budgets, forecasts and pricing strategies for both regions. You monitor KPIs and results and make adjustments to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- You will monitor consistency in pricing, positioning and compliance within the region.
- You will follow market developments, competition, clinical trends and purchasing structures in both Germany and Switzerland.
- You will work closely with internal stakeholders such as Business Unit, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Supply Chain to realize the sales plan.
Sales support & coaching
- You will support and coach the Swiss sales manager and the sales representative Germany in strategic accounts and complex sales processes.
Sales Germany
- Germany being the biggest market, you will also visit customers and are responsible for realizing turnover and growth within hospitals in Germany.
Profile Description
- Min 5 years of relevant working experience with medical devices in a hospital environment Demonstrable sales experience combined with a coaching or managerial role
- Practical knowledge of Sales & Marketing techniques
- Good working knowledge of German and English (written and spoken).
- Be a flexible team player, be able to work independently, prioritize own work and, maintain confidentiality of information
- Have a positive attitude and be pro-active, have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure and within short time constraints
- Be able to provide direction and take action if necessary, align people behind strategy, enable team members to productively achieve results.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region
- Preferably, you live in the South of Germany
