The Interventional Systems division (TIS) provides high quality, cutting-edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels. We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO).

IC offers a comprehensive device portfolio including products for the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease.

Job Summary

As a Sales Representative you are a part of the TIS Sales and Marketing team Austria. Your objective is to manage and support all sales and marketing activities for the IC product ranges in the eastern part of Austria.

You will promote our high-quality products to existing customers, and you will maintain/pursue existing and new accounts to achieve accountable sales targets, as well as to expand the company market share. By doing so, you will contribute directly to the continuous growth of Terumo. As part of the sales team, you’ll report directly to the Sales Manager.

 

Job Responsibilities

1.    Sales 
⦁    As our Sales Representative and a member of our Austria TIS Sales team, you’ll fulfil the needs of all our current customers and potential new accounts, by building trust and maintaining the relationships through your daily endeavours. Therefore, you’ll need to ensure a clear understanding of the customer requirements. Consequently, you’ll need to analyse the market drivers, competition, market positioning and possible evolutions within the respective field – with support from the Austria TIS team and the rest of the organization. 
⦁    You’ll manage all sales activities for your product group and/or territory and you’ll assist in analysing possible problems. When needed, you’ll propose and plan the necessary corrective actions to resolve the problems, in order to reach the objectives and targets. In collaboration with the Sales Manager, you’ll be setting the related targets and price levels. 
⦁    By implementing the marketing & sales strategies and by developing tactics, you’ll contribute directly to the improvement of the sales and profitability. Additionally, you’ll contribute to the search for new sales methods and opportunities. 
⦁    Together with the Austria TIS team, you’ll manage the Key Opinion Leaders through proactively building and maintaining excellent relations. The target audience will primarily consist of Interventional Cardiologists, farmacists, nurses in the OR and other members of the medical and hospital staff in general, and the purchase departments. You’ll also maintain excellent relationships with official parties, authorities and organizations. Consequently, you’ll be responsible for the complaint handling and the related CRM reporting. In addition, you’ll be present at conferences, congresses and trade fairs to represent the company towards the target audience.
⦁    You’ll work closely with the Sales Manager, your colleagues sales representatives, the Key Account Manager, the Marketing Manager, and other internal stakeholders to strengthen Terumo’s position in our highly competitive industry. 


2.    Support & training 

⦁    You offer support and training in the appropriate use of specialized medical devices in certain diagnostic and interventional procedures.
⦁    You support doctors and/or auxiliary personnel in procedures where the devices are used, provide services and benefits on technologies, medical devices and procedures specific to clients.
⦁    You develop and maintain clinical communications to support, document and drive the use of our products.
⦁    You ensure products are used appropriately with regard to patient safety and intended use.
 

Profile Description

⦁    Experience in a sales or product specialist role, preferably with medical devices in the hospital market.
⦁    Or you are a nurse in a hospital where you got familiarised with the devices in the cathlab or OR. 
⦁    Able to engage customers by building strong and sustainable relationships 
⦁    You are committed and full of energy ; a close collaboration with your team members is your working style.
⦁    German mother tongue and you speak good English. 
⦁    You live in the region, preferable in Niederösterreich, Burgenland or around Vienna.
