Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative – Interventional Cardiology to strengthen our team in Spain.

 

You will be responsible for developing our Interventional Cardiology business across Navarra, País Vasco, Cantabria, La Rioja, Burgos and Zaragoza, building strong partnerships with interventional cardiologists and other key hospital stakeholders.

 

Combining commercial responsibility with a strong clinical focus, you will support customers throughout the sales process, provide product expertise in the clinical environment, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the continued growth of Terumo's presence within your territory.

Job Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute the sales plan for the Interventional Cardiology portfolio within your assigned territory.
  • Achieve agreed sales and profitability objectives while identifying opportunities for sustainable business growth.
  • Develop existing accounts and proactively identify new customers and business opportunities.
  • Analyse territory performance, customer needs and market developments, translating insights into concrete commercial actions.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and Marketing team on pricing, product positioning and territory development.

 

Customer & Clinical Partnership

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with interventional cardiologists and other relevant hospital stakeholders.
  • Provide product presentations, demonstrations and clinical support to customers.
  • Support the adoption and appropriate use of Terumo products in the clinical environment.
  • Develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other influential stakeholders within the territory.
  • Act as a trusted partner by understanding customer needs and providing appropriate product and clinical solutions.

 

Market & Product Development

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the Interventional Cardiology market, competitor activities and evolving customer needs.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities and share relevant insights with Sales and Marketing colleagues.
  • Support product launches and local implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager and other internal teams to ensure customers receive high-quality technical and clinical support.

 

Training, Events & Collaboration

  • Organize and deliver product training for customers and internal colleagues where required.
  • Represent Terumo at relevant local and national congresses, conferences and professional events.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and other internal teams to support commercial objectives and an excellent customer experience.
  • Handle and escalate customer feedback or complaints in accordance with Terumo's quality procedures.
  • Maintain accurate reporting on territory activities, opportunities and business performance.

 

Profile Description

  • Relevant experience in medical device sales, preferably within Interventional Cardiology, cardiovascular or another hospital-based interventional environment.
  • Existing knowledge of or relationships within the Interventional Cardiology community in the assigned territory would be a strong advantage.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, develop accounts and deliver results.
  • Comfortable working in hospitals and clinical environments and engaging with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and influencing skills.
  • Proactive, organized and able to manage your territory with a high degree of autonomy while remaining a strong team player.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Willing and able to travel frequently throughout Navarra, País Vasco, Cantabria, La Rioja, Burgos and Zaragoza, as well as occasionally elsewhere for meetings, training and congresses.
