The Interventional Systems division (TIS) provides high quality, cutting-edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels. We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO). The Nordic TIS division is split into 2 teams, Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Intervention/Interventional Oncology (EVI). Job Summary

As a Sales Representative you are a part of the Nordic Endovascular Interventional (EVI) Sales and Marketing team. Your objective is to manage and support all sales and marketing activities for the EVI product ranges within Norway. You will promote our high-quality products to existing customers, and you will maintain/pursue existing and new accounts to achieve accountable sales targets, as well as to expand the company market share. By doing so, you will contribute directly to the continuous growth of Terumo. As part of the sales team, you’ll report directly to the Sales Manager.

Job Responsibilities

  • As our Sales Representative and a member of our Nordic EVI Sales team, you’ll fulfil the needs of all our current customers and potential new accounts, by building trust and maintaining the relationships through your daily endeavours. Therefore, you’ll need to ensure a clear understanding of the customer requirements. Consequently, you’ll need to analyse the market drivers, competition, market positioning and possible evolutions within the respective field – with support from the Nordic EVI team and the rest of the organisation. 
  • The Norwegian market is highly tender driven. In close collaboration with colleagues, you will be responsible for the planning and execution during all tender phases – Pre-During-Post. 
  • You’ll manage all sales activities for your product group and/or territory and you’ll assist in analysing possible problems. When needed, you’ll propose and plan the necessary corrective actions to resolve the problems, in order to reach the objectives and targets. In collaboration with the Sales Manager, you’ll be setting the related targets and price levels. 
  • By implementing the marketing & sales strategies and by developing tactics, you’ll contribute directly to the improvement of the sales and profitability. Additionally, you’ll contribute to the search for new sales methods and opportunities. 
  • Together with the Nordic EVI team, you’ll manage the Key Opinion Leaders through proactively building and maintaining excellent relations. The target audience will primarily consist of Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists/Interventional Cardiologists, Key stakeholders in general, and the purchase departments. You’ll also maintain excellent relationships with official parties, authorities and organizations. Consequently, you’ll be responsible for the complaint handling and the related CRM reporting. In addition, you’ll be present at conferences, congresses and trade fairs to represent the company towards the target audience.
  • You’ll organize and set up both internal and external training programmes to demonstrate the appropriate handling of our products and to contribute to the health of our patients. 
  • You’ll work closely with the Sales Manager, 2 Nordic Marketing Managers, and other internal stakeholders to strengthen Terumo’s position in our highly competitive industry. 
     

Profile Description

  • You have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree, in a healthcare discipline or sales. Extensive previous operational experience within a similar role will also qualify. 
  • Previous successful sales experience will be regarded as an asset. 
  • Experience within Radiology, Vascular surgery, Oncology and Peripheral interventions combined with technical/device selling experience is highly desirable. 
  • Existing networks with Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists/Interventional Cardiologists and Key stakeholders in general will be regarded as advantageous. 
  • You will be a great influencer and an excellent listener, persuasive and driven. 
  • You are able to work well within a hybrid environment, including both face-to-face and virtual interactions. 
  • You are a self-driver, -leader and -starter. In addition, you are independent, and you perform well within an environment that will require of you to meet touch expectations. 
  • Be a flexible team player and maintain confidentiality of information
  • You have a positive and proactive attitude, have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure and within short time constraints. Show drive and determination for all tasks.
  • You are customer-driven and possess excellent analytical skills. In addition, you are fluent in English and Norwegian. This includes both verbal and written skills.
  • You live in the region, preferable in the South-East of Norway. You are open to work based from home within the designated territory and are open to travel based on the needs of the business.
