Job Summary
As Sales Representative Oncology you will support the purchasing and non-purchasing customers in the territory of Nordrhein-Westfalen. Your will be responsible for both informing and selling our products to our customers and contribute to the department's overall financial performance. An important part of this is the support and guidance during the use of our products.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic and operational development of the sales area
- Proactive planning, coordination and implementation of measures to achieve the specified sales targets in consultation with the supervisor
- Communication of market observations (competition, therapeutic orientation of customers, reimbursement in the business area)
- Expanding sales relationships by identifying customers' short, medium, and long-term needs and developing a customer-specific sales strategy
- Participation in congresses and sales events to present products and services
- Acquisition of new customers to expand market position
- Supporting existing customers through qualified advice
- Identification and implementation of all measures required for customer satisfaction
- Reporting on current market developments and business opportunities to sales management
- Accompanying, guiding and pre-planning interventions, advising and training customers and colleagues
- Close cooperation with customer service, product management and regional sales management
- Setting up and conducting training sessions in hospitals or outpatient physicians’ offices and providing relevant clinical literature to physicians who send patients
- Advising and working out best practices with current as well as potential new clients to foster increased effectiveness and realize enhanced patient care
- Strengthening important relationships to influential key opinion leaders, key customers, administration and referring physicians in and outside of hospitals
Profile Description
- Knowledge of reimbursement and the German Healthcare system beneficial
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, radiology, physics, pharmacy (sales) and/or practical experience as a MTR, Nurse, OTA with medical knowledge within the oncology/radiotherapy/surgery area for a minimum of five years
- Minimum of five years of experience in sales in the area radiotherapy/oncology/pharma-oncology or knowledge of interventional oncological products is beneficial
- Practical and technical expertise of hospital procedures in interventional radiology/oncology/radiotherapy is beneficial
- Knowledge of Sales & Marketing techniques and good presentation skills
- Good analytical skills and time management
- Have a positive attitude with a “growth mind set”
- Be a flexible team player, be able to work independently, prioritize own work and maintain confidentiality of information
- Results-oriented, analytical, proactive and independent way of working
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and commitment
- Understanding of complex contexts and interpretation of studies
- Good knowledge of German & English (written and spoken).
- Business travel within the territory is required; The amount of traveling time will be around 60 to 80%
