Job Summary

 

As a Software Engineer at Quirem, you will play a crucial role in the development and testing of our software products. Reporting to the Manager of Imaging and Software Development TIO (Terumo Interventional Oncology), you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to advancing medical technology.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

In this dynamic and challenging role, you will:

 

Software Development: Develop and implement high-quality software code, contributing to the creation of innovative solutions that drive Quirem's success in the medical technology sector.

 

Test Plans and Execution: Create comprehensive software test plans and test cases. 

 

Requirements Definition: Collaborate in defining (test-driven) software requirements, ensuring alignment with the needs and expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.

 

Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain a robust test environment, facilitating efficient and effective software testing processes.

 

Testing and Reporting: Perform tests with precision, meticulously documenting and reporting results. Contribute to the continuous improvement of software quality through insightful analysis.

 

Customer Support: Provide essential support to customers for the installation and use of Quirem's software products, ensuring a positive user experience.

 

Profile Description

 

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
  • Passion for Software Development: Demonstrated passion for software development and testing, particularly in the context of medical imaging and image processing.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in C#, .Net framework, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps. Adept at leveraging various programming languages, techniques, and development platforms.
  • Software Testing: Experience with software testing, including creating test plans and cases, and performing tests in a controlled and systematic manner.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to independently identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Experience with international standards and guidelines for medical devices, such as IEC62304 and ISO13485 will be regarded as an additional asset.
