Job Summary

 

As a Software Engineer at Quirem (a Terumo company), you’ll be at the forefront of developing and testing innovative software solutions that advance medical technology. Reporting to the Manager of Imaging and Software Development TIO (Terumo Interventional Oncology), you’ll collaborate with a passionate, dynamic team to shape the future of healthcare.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

In this multifaceted role, you will:

 

  • Develop High-Quality Software: Create innovative, reliable code that supports Quirem’s mission to revolutionize medical technology.
  • Design and Execute Test Plans: Craft comprehensive software test plans and execute them with precision.
  • Define Requirements: Collaborate on defining (test-driven) software requirements, ensuring they meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage Testing Environments: Establish and maintain robust test environments to support efficient software evaluation.
  • Analyze and Report Results: Conduct thorough testing, document findings, and contribute insights for continuous quality improvement.
  • Support End-Users: Assist customers with software installation and usage to ensure a seamless experience.
     

Profile Description

 

Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.


Passion for Innovation: A strong drive for software development and testing, particularly in medical imaging and image processing.


Technical Expertise: Proficiency in C#, .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps. Experience with multiple programming languages and development platforms is a plus.


Testing Acumen: A solid understanding of software testing processes, including creating test plans and executing systematic tests.


Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify challenges independently and implement effective solutions.


Communication Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English to communicate effectively within a diverse team.


Regulatory Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with international medical device standards such as IEC62304 and ISO13485 is an advantage.
