Department Info

This position is part of the People Solutions Team.   As part of the EMEA HR organisation, the People Solutions team takes care of Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards and Transformation. 
Although part of this team and coached by the People Solutions Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Strategic Planning Team (Project & Change Management team). 

Job Summary

As a Transformation Coach, your focus will be on strategic transformations in EMEA, whether it's within one department or across multiple departments in EMEA. You will support transformations that go beyond regular change projects, aiming to create a new and different future by profoundly changing current values, beliefs, culture, and practices. Your role involves guiding sponsors, people managers, and project teams to ensure that change management efforts are executed with the necessary engagement and readiness, maximizing adoption and minimizing resistance for successful transformations. You'll closely collaborate with the Strategic Planning department, project managers, Change Managers, and change champions/agents in strategic and complex change initiatives, as well as with HR managers.

Job Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Create Transformation Awareness:

    • Guide sponsors, stakeholders, and initiative takers (mostly Senior Leadership Team) from the early stages of projects to maximize success and create self-awareness, a Transformation vision, strategy, and approach.
    • Analyze and stimulate awareness levels with key stakeholders.
    • Establish governance and processes for strategic transformations.
    • Coach Transformation Leaders and define activities to build managerial skills in change and transformation.
    • Support the development of an organization that actively plans for transformation.
  2. Develop a Solid and Agile Transformation Plan:

    • Focus on the systemic impact of transformations, organizational culture, and development.
    • Conduct impact analysis on organization, team, and individual levels.
    • Drive adoption, utilization, and proficiency of changes.
    • Define actionable deliverables for key change management levers.
    • Establish clear success KPIs and indicators.
    • Proactively involve stakeholders in organizational development planning.
    • Ensure solid risk management steps.
  3. Follow up on the Transformation Plan:

    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to execute the transition plan smoothly.
    • Address resistance to change and transformation.
    • Coach people managers and HR partners.
    • Value progress on success criteria and KPIs.
    • Support workshops and facilitation of events.
  4. Collaborate and Align with Change & Transformation Roles:

    • Support HR partners in strategic questioning and organizational development.
    • Involve PMO & Change Manager in complex transformation projects.
    • Tap into the network of Change advocates & champions.
    • Provide support to L&D and TA teams when needed.

Profile Description

For this role, you need to think analytically and conceptually at the level of a master’s degree. You should have a strategic mindset, always ready to learn and adapt quickly to new and uncertain situations. Strong communication skills, tailored to the experiences of your colleagues and teams, are essential, along with the ability to influence while respecting our culture and values.

You must have experience in coaching conversations, whether with teams, individuals, or in systemic contexts. A growth mindset is crucial, as is the ability to lead workshops that inspire transformational thinking. You should also have a strong interest in HR/People processes and Learning & Development. While not mandatory, having certification in Change Management, such as CCMP or Prosci, is recommended.

We're looking for someone highly agile in navigating change, capable of setting an example for others. If you have a natural affinity for project management and maintain a positive, collaborative mindset across departments, you'll fit right in.

Fluency in English is a must, and a good working knowledge of Dutch is preferred. Proficiency in other languages is considered advantageous.
