We are looking for a Digital Technologies Analyst Quality Management Systems who is motivated by impact, eager to learn, and inspired by the challenges of a highly regulated medical devices environment.
 

The Terumo Europe ICT department, operating from Belgium, is a shared service center that provides IT services to Terumo's internal and external customers across the EMEA region. One team focuses on Infrastructure, Operations & Security. The other team focuses on Applications, Enterprise Architecture & Analytics. In this role you'll join the Applications, Enterprise Architecture and Analytics team, reporting into Pieter Tombeur, Manager Validation & Compliance.

Job Summary

In this role, you will act as a proactive partner to our Quality Systems team within the Quality & Regulatory department. You will help develop, improve and support our eQMS application landscape, ensuring that systems are integrated, compliant and aligned with business needs. You will collaborate closely with IT, quality stakeholders, global teams and business partners to ensure that our digital quality ecosystem operates efficiently, meets regulatory expectations and supports continuous improvement across the organisation.

Job Responsibilities

You build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders and ensure continuous alignment in a decentralized IT environment. You engage with teams to understand needs, gather detailed business requirements and translate them into effective digital solutions that support Quality Management processes. You evaluate, design and implement applications that streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies and enhance data flows. You support the integration of new technologies and ensure seamless interoperability with existing systems. You maintain documentation, support change and incident management processes and ensure that solutions meet regulatory, quality and cybersecurity standards. You monitor key quality metrics to assess the impact of implemented solutions and drive ongoing improvements. You explore emerging technologies such as AI-driven analytics and low-code applications to enhance quality processes. Throughout the project lifecycle, you collaborate with the PMO, provide end‑user support, conduct testing, manage system validation and contribute to a robust digital quality infrastructure.

Profile Description

You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering or a related field. Apart from a degree, we strongly value professional experience and an attitiude to learn and further develop within the field of ICT.
You bring approximately one to three years of industry experience, ideally within medical devices or other regulated environments.
You are enthusiastic about healthcare quality and patient safety and have experience with Quality Management IT systems.
You are curious, analytical and capable of navigating both technical and organisational complexity and manage to communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical audiences. You enjoy influencing, guiding and engaging stakeholders. You understand both the bigger picture and operational detail and can quickly grasp new technologies. You approach challenges with a technology-neutral mindset and have a keen interest in emerging tools such as AI and low-code platforms. Knowledge of eQMS systems, CSV, GxP, ITIL, GAMP5, project management methodologies or quality frameworks such as ISO 13485 is an advantage. You are fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment.
