Job Summary

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the  availability of GMP materials across the supply chain, supporting the timely delivery of products to customers and patients. Working closely with suppliers, warehouse operations, and internal stakeholders, you will forecast demand, plan material requirements, and maintain optimal inventory levels to support business needs.

You will analyse supply chain performance, monitor material availability and lead times, and proactively address potential risks or shortages. By leveraging data and insights, you will identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, enhance service levels, and optimise costs.

In addition, you will manage purchase orders, support production planning activities, and ensure compliance with GMP and GDP quality standards. As a valued member of the team, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to strengthen supply chain processes, drive operational excellence, and support a culture of quality, collaboration, and innovation.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Material Requirement Planning
  • Develop MRPs for GMP Drug Product manufacturing and ensure on-time material availability.
  • Manage project material lifecycle: demand collection, BOM confirmation, consumption tracking, and deviation analysis.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to update material status and mitigate supply risks.
  • Optimize safety stock, reorder points, MOQ, and replenishment strategies.

 

  1. Inventory Management
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, turnover, and slow-moving or risk materials.
  • Analyze consumption trends and propose inventory optimization and cost-saving actions.

 

  1. Material Procurement
  • Coordinate user departments for new supplier qualification application.
  • Contact supplier to get supplier qualification documents.
  • Coordinate QA for supplier qualification if needed and drive onboarding of new suppliers.
  • Execute PR/PO for procuring direct material as well as follow up with supplier to track delivery.
  • Support on good-received bookings and recalls to supplier.

 

  1. SAP MM User
  • Act as SAP MM user, to support all teams, processes, master data, and business scenario configuration.
  • Troubleshoot PO/GR/GI, batch management, and inventory issues for business teams.
  • Support SAP enhancements, UAT testing, and provide user training to related departments.
  • Review and adapt related SOPs as well as follow up with CC, CAPA and deviations with regard to SAP and SCM processes

 

  1. GMP & Quality activities
  • Support on quality related task such as SOP revisions, CAPAs, deviation investigation, audits and self-inspections.

Profile Description

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years' experience in material planning or logistics in pharmaceutical industry
  • Possess excellent GMP knowledge
  • SAP knowledge in MM 
  • Excellent proficiency in English and German 
  • Capability of working in an highly diverse and regulated environment
