The Commercial Excellence, Pricing & Strategy team supports EMEA TIS business in delivering our revenue, market share and profitability commitments by enabling an insight driven organization and by driving our GTM transformation

Job Responsibilities

 


Pricing Strategy
Support marketing teams in developing pricing strategies for new product launches, focusing on pricing and value versus volume/revenue and market share.
 

Price Setting & Performance
Assist with price increase processes and set pricing structures in EMEA (e.g., floor and target prices). Collaborate on price list formalization.
 

Pricing Execution
Help countries deploy and use pricing tools (CPQ), manage data flow and user access, and run pricing training. Work with departments to monitor price performance and propose process improvements. Conduct analysis to support business decisions and address regional/country pricing issues.
 

Pricing Governance
Contribute to the pricing process transformation with project management skills. Consolidate activities and coordinate with regional reporting processes. Modify reports as needed and support the deployment of the Terumo pricing framework. Partner with commercial teams to develop regional pricing initiatives and grow the business. Enhance pricing training via TIS Academy/DOJO.
 

Information Management & Tools
Assist with pricing-related elements of Jsox audits to ensure compliance. Provide analysis support to Sales & Marketing leadership. Conduct pricing segmentation, profitability modeling, and margin improvement recommendations. Monitor ASPs and profitability margins.
 

Data Integrity
Ensure data quality and integrity for accurate reporting and decision-making. Collaborate on Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.
 

Collaboration
Build strong relationships across functions, contribute to EMEA pricing communities, and provide guidance and training to enhance collective knowledge. Drive continuous improvement and partner with internal stakeholders.

Profile Description

 

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field.
  • Your background includes previous experience in a pricing role, or in marketing, sales, or finance.
  • With at least 5 years of relevant experience, you are well-versed in pricing, especially in international settings.
  • You bring strong financial expertise and a deep understanding of key financial concepts.
  • Your analytical mindset, paired with a strong attention to detail, helps you navigate complex pricing challenges.
  • You are adept at conducting research and transforming data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Your communication skills, both written and spoken, are excellent, and you can present information clearly and confidently.
  • You’re comfortable with advanced systems and software tools like PowerBI, SAP, databases, and statistical tools.
  • Working as part of a team is second nature to you, and you collaborate effortlessly with others to achieve shared goals.
  • You’re a skilled problem-solver, always able to find solutions to challenging pricing issues.
  • Project management is a strength, and you consistently meet deadlines while ensuring quality outcomes.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments and stay adaptable when priorities shift.
  • Having worked in diverse cultural settings, you’re equipped to handle various challenges with sensitivity and insight.
  • While experience in the Medical Devices industry is a plus, it’s not a requirement for you to succeed in this role.
  • You’re fluent in English, and additional language skills will be an asset.
  • You’re open to international travel, with an estimated 10% travel requirement.
