The Terumo Interventional Systems division (TIS) provides high quality, cutting-edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and minimal invasive interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels. We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions and an Access and Closure portfolio for Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO).
This position will cover the whole TIS portfolio, including Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Intervention and Interventional Oncology.
Job Summary
We are looking for a commercially minded and hands-on Product Manager to drive the growth and adoption of our Interventional Systems portfolio within Turkey.
In this role, you will be responsible for translating strategic priorities into impactful market activities that accelerate therapy adoption, increase market share and strengthen Terumo's position in the market. Working closely with local sales teams, distributors, physicians and internal stakeholders, you will lead marketing initiatives, educational programmes and product launch activities that directly contribute to business growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning strategy into action and who is passionate about bringing innovative therapies closer to patients and healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities
Drive Therapy Adoption and Market Growth
- Accelerate adoption of Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Intervention and Interventional Oncology therapies across the Turkish market.
- Identify opportunities to increase market share and support sustainable business growth.
- Translate regional marketing strategies into locally relevant activities and campaigns.
- Monitor market developments, competitive activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Execute Marketing Initiatives
- Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional and local business objectives.
- Lead product launch and market activation activities.
- Create compelling product and therapy value propositions for healthcare professionals and distributors.
- Manage congress participation, workshops, educational events and promotional campaigns.
Develop Clinical and KOL Partnerships
- Build strong relationships with physicians, KOLs and healthcare stakeholders.
- Develop and execute KOL engagement strategies that support therapy development and market adoption.
- Support scientific communication and ensure clinical evidence is effectively translated into commercial opportunities.
- Work with stakeholders to develop educational pathways that drive procedural and therapy adoption.
Support Sales and Distributor Excellence
- Act as the marketing expert for the product portfolio and provide ongoing support to commercial teams.
- Deliver product training and educational support to distributors and sales teams.
- Communicate product differentiators, clinical benefits and competitive positioning clearly and effectively.
- Collaborate with distributors as an extension of the commercial organisation to drive business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales, Education, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Supply Chain teams.
- Contribute to forecasting, portfolio management and market expansion initiatives.
- Act as a trusted marketing partner within an international, matrix organisation.
Profile Description
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Paramedical Sciences or another relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing or a comparable commercial role.
- Experience within the medical device or broader MedTech industry is required.
- Experience in interventional cardiology, peripheral intervention, interventional radiology or related therapy areas is an asset.
- Proven experience driving product adoption, market development and commercial growth initiatives.
