Our team in Spain works closely with customers, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service while driving commercial success. To support our growing business, we are looking for a proactive and organized Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our Interventional Systems team.

 

Job Summary

 

As Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial success of our Interventional Systems business in Spain. You will provide administrative, marketing, and operational support to the Sales team while coordinating events, customer communications, logistics, finance administration, and marketing initiatives.

 

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other internal stakeholders, you will help ensure smooth business operations and contribute to an outstanding customer experience.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Sales & Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Interventional Systems Sales team.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, team events, and customer appointments.
  • Manage documentation, filing systems, and commercial administration.
  • Support contract administration, professional credentialing, consulting agreements, and other customer documentation.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Sales Manager and wider commercial team.

Marketing & Events

  • Support the execution of local marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Coordinate customer events, congresses, workshops, exhibitions, webinars, and training sessions.
  • Work with internal Marketing teams and external suppliers to organize promotional activities and exhibition logistics.
  • Prepare customer and market surveys, analyse results, and support reporting.
  • Coordinate promotional materials, product information, and marketing communications, including digital mailings.

Logistics & Commercial Operations

  • Coordinate customer samples, demonstration products, and demo kits.
  • Manage marketing materials, brochures, and commercial inventory.
  • Organize shipments and coordinate logistics for promotional materials and demonstration equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of product samples and commercial assets.

Finance & Operational Support

  • Raise purchase orders and support budget administration for marketing activities.
  • Monitor marketing-related expenses and maintain accurate financial documentation.
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure timely processing and reconciliation of invoices and purchase orders.

Corporate Social Responsibility & Continuous Improvement

  • Support local Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and employee engagement activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to operational excellence.
  • Deliver high-quality internal and external customer service while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Profile Description

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sales Support, Marketing Support, Commercial Operations, or Administrative role.
  • Experience within the medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry is considered an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
  • Experience coordinating events, marketing activities, or commercial projects is a plus.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
